SUMMER READING KICK OFF CONCERT

  NEW     Bring a picnic, bring the family and join us on the Village Green for a Summer Reading Kick Off Concert with MR. AARON!! Mr. Aaron brings unparalleled energy, enthusiasm and creativity to his concerts and we'll have a grand time starting our Summer Reading Program off together!

      In the event of inclement weather, the concert will be held in the Congregational Church, 11 Church Street, Amherst. Due to limited capacity, registered guests will have first entrance priority. Please register for this event.

AN EVENING OF POETRY

THURSDAY, JUNE 20, 7:00 – 8:00 PM

Main Floor- Archives Room, Amherst Town Library, 14 Main Street, Amherst, NH 03031

  NEW      Do you love poetry? Poetry lovers and writers, you are invited to bring a poem by a poet you love or one you have written to share and discuss. Closet poets welcome. Our MC, Susanna Hargreaves, will guide the evening of inspirational and comforting poetry sharing.

MIKE BENT MAGIC SHOW

MONDAY, JUNE 24, 2:00 – 3:00 PM

  NEW            Mike combines his experience in magic, comedy and teaching to create a unique program for families. You won't want to miss this exciting, hilarious and interactive show! Ages 4+

AMHERST TOWN LIBRARY   At 14 Main Street stands the Town Library built in 1892 of local granite in the craftsman style.  The library was renovated in 1910 with funds donated by James Towne with the understanding that the library be called Amherst Towne Library.

Amherst's July 4th
The theme this year is "National Treasures” where you can enjoy fireworks and activities on June 30th and a traditional old-time parade on July 4th.

The Amherst Town Band will march in the July 4th parade and perform on the Common.
